Room to breathe
Coaching circles for mothers in leadership
The women I work with are not short on competence.
They are capable, responsible, and deeply committed—to their work, their families, and their communities.
What they are short on is space. Space to think. Space where they are not managing, covering, or holding it all together for everyone else.
This lack of space is why I created coaching circles—group coaching for working moms who need room to breathe.
What is a coaching circle?
A three-person group meeting weekly on Zoom for ten weeks. With just three members, the conversation slows down enough for real thinking to happen.
Here’s what participants have said:
“Part community, cohort, club, all at once.”
“Nobody felt like they had to be perfect. That was unusual—very open and freeing.”
“It wasn’t what I expected, but it’s exactly what I needed.”
“Life changing. Better parent for it. Better spouse for it. Better professional for it.”
These aren’t lessons that were taught. They’re insights that emerged when three women had space to think out loud, together.
What stays with people
At the end of one cohort, I asked a Priya Parker question: “What of this world do you want to bring back to your other worlds?”
“I have a finite number of fucks to give. And I get to decide where they go.”
“I’ve shed a version of myself that wasn’t working. I didn’t throw everything out—just the pieces that didn’t fit anymore.”
“My plate is as full as I want it to be.”
We cover a surprising amount of ground in 10 weeks.
Who this is for
Mothers in leadership who need space to think.
Women who spend a lot of time holding complexity for everyone else. Who are navigating change, or anticipating transition. Who want to think more clearly about the impact they have, not just the minutes they spend.
You don’t need a “problem.” You don’t need a plan. You don’t need to arrive polished (in fact, that’s the point). You just need to recognize yourself somewhere in this.
The details
When: 10 weeks, February through May 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed when group membership is finalized)
Time slots:
Mondays, 3:45–5:00pm ET
Tuesdays, 1:30–2:45pm ET
Format: Virtual (Zoom), 3 participants per circle

How to join
The first step is a 20-minute intake call with me. We’ll talk about what’s on your mind, whether a circle feels like the right fit, and which day and time works best for your schedule.
If we both agree it’s a good fit, I’ll follow up with calendar invites for each session, a coaching agreement, and a payment link.
I hope to meet you soon.

What participants say
“Sarah’s coaching group is a rare space—thoughtful, energizing, and grounded in real life. What makes it powerful isn’t just the quality of the facilitation (though that’s exceptional), but the range of women it brings together. Participants span industries, ages, and ambitions, creating a dynamic environment where different perspectives spark deeper reflection and growth.
Sessions are thoughtfully structured but leave room for the most meaningful topics to emerge naturally. The result is a process that feels both purposeful and expansive—inviting real exploration, authentic connection, and progress that builds session by session.
I’d recommend it to anyone navigating the messy intersection of career, parenthood, personal growth, and the desire to be in community with others doing the same—with structure, but without pretense.”
— Isabel Canter, Founder, C3 Growth Partners, Parent of Two
“I feel like I’ve changed so much in the last three months. I’m more comfortable in my skin. It’s like I’ve shed a version of myself that wasn’t working. I didn’t throw everything out—just the pieces that didn’t fit anymore.”
— Jackie Albano, Communications Executive, Parent of Two
“This process has been about remembering who I am, honoring myself, giving myself grace and space. I don’t know if I could have done this, even in therapy. There’s something extraordinary about us coming together from different spaces and experiences, sharing the same struggles, questions, and challenges. The collective affirmation, the feeling of ‘we’re in this together,’ has been so validating and empowering.”
— Leesa Mercedes, Psychologist, School Leader, Parent of Four
“Over these 12 weeks, I’ve realized just how valuable my time is and that I have the power to decide how to use it. I created a simple system: what I choose to give my time to, what I choose not to, and what requires time that doesn’t always have to be mine. It’s been transformative in helping me make choices that align with my priorities. The wisdom shared by the group has also stayed with me, shaping how I think about time and balance. Learning to say no has been a revelation—it’s better for me, my family, and the people I support.”
— Betsy Lewittes, Educational Leader, Parent of Two
“This group was part coaching, part community, and part sanctuary. The four of us came from different places and industries, but we shared our struggles and joys in a way that felt deeply connected and empowering. Sarah created a space where we could explore what mattered most—our values, priorities, and challenges—while offering thoughtful guidance and resources. The trust we built didn’t end after the sessions; we continue to support each other, and that sense of belonging has been life-changing.”
— Juliet Correll Wright, Professional Learning Leader, Parent of Two
